What is Integrative Nutrition?
Integrative Nutrition is an all-encompassing approach to wellness that takes into account your bio-individuality. Bio-individuality means that no one diet works for everyone. Research has shown that bio-individual diets can lower the chance of obesity, heart disease, and diabetes. In addition to looking at your nutritional intake, integrative nutrition takes into account your physical, environmental, emotional, spiritual, and social well-being to help you reach your wellness goals. What is an Integrative Doctor?
An Integrative doctor seeks to identify and address the root causes of disease, and views the body as one integrated system, not a collection of independent organs divided up by medical specialties. It treats the whole system, not just the symptoms.
What is Health Coaching?
A health coach can help you with common concerns beyond your diet and meal planning — like high-stress levels, poor sleep, sedentary habits, and environmental influences.
Health coaches don’t diagnose or treat diseases but, instead, help clients make changes that improve their overall health and well-being across a range of health goals, conditions and concerns.
